If home birth is not your preference, you are more than welcome to utilize Family Birth Center in New Braunfels, Texas. Stephanie Fluker has privileges at Family Birth Center and there's no place like home except Family Birth Center. Please contact us for more information and to schedule a tour!
Birthing Suite
Family Birth Center is owned and operated by Galyn Lacewell. The center was established in 2006 and has been carefully restored/renovated. There's one home-like birthing suite in the main house and a cottage in the back. There's plenty of space to include your family and loved ones.
After birth we offer a healing herbal bath, bedside newborn exam and ensure that mom and baby are stable before tucking you in and allowing your family to bond.
Water Birth
Water Birth is available at home or at the birth center. We offer this as an option and are trained and experienced in all aspects of water birth. We will support the use of hydrotherapy throughout the entire process, if that's a preference. Ask us about the use of birth pools at home and why we love clawfoot tubs at the birth center!
