Our Services

Comprehensive prenatal care. Our prenatal visits are designed to provide you with the knowledge, support, and care you need to make informed decisions about your pregnancy. Our visits begin around 10 weeks and are scheduled every 4 weeks until 28 weeks gestation, every 2 weeks from 28-36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until your birth. These visits are usually 45 minutes long with face to face time with your provider. Monitoring:

·         Baby's position 

·         Blood pressure

·         Fetal Hearing Tones

·         Fundal Height 

·         Labs offered - OB Panel and other routine screenings 

Whether you decide to have a home birth or birth center birth, support will begin via communication from the onset of labor. Thereafter, support begins in your home or at the center with a peaceful and non-chaotic presence. Depending on your chosen birth plan all care is individualized. We monitor vital signs, general condition, cervical dilation, fetal position, intermittent fetal heart tones with a doppler and assess emotional balance. Your birth story matters to us and we strive to ensure that the following topics are discussed prior to birth: family at birth, birth setting choice, breastfeeding, emergency plan, childbirth education, afterbirth plans and more. 

Postpartum care is provided on the following schedule: Immediately following birth for two hours (and herbal bath), or as needed, 24-48 hour visit (in-home, if in radius of travel), 2 week and 6 week visit (in-office). Additional appointments are available as needed.

Newborn Care is included for the first 6 weeks of life. Initial newborn exam (neurological and gestational assessment, weight, length, prophylactic eye care, Vitamin K, Cord Care and blood typing as needed.

·         Birth certificate filing, social security requests handled.

·         Cleaning of birth space.

·         Breastfeeding support, newborn weight checks, nutritional counseling, and more.
